In the early years, circuit boards belonged to the high-tech industry, and most foreign companies controlled technology output, which at one time constrained and restricted the development and growth of the circuit board industry. According to Time magazine, China and India are among the most polluted countries in the world. To protect the environment, the Chinese government has been strictly formulating and implementing relevant pollution control regulations, which have affected the PCB industry. Many cities and towns are no longer allowed to expand and build new PCB factories, but the development of our circuit board enterprises is now restricted by local conditions. The more economically developed the areas, the greater the restrictions. Why? Because unconsciously, circuit board enterprises have developed into what the government sees as major polluters, energy consumers, and water users! In today's society where environmental protection and sustainable development are highly valued, once such a "hat" is worn, circuit board enterprises will truly be "beaten by everyone". In fact, are we major polluters, energy consumers, and water users? Of course not! Our circuit board enterprise is low energy consumption and low pollution. We can compare based on the following data: from the perspective of environmental protection, by comparing the pollution index of wastewater discharged by enterprises in various industries, it can be seen that: 1. The types of pollutants in circuit board enterprises are relatively concentrated, mainly COD and heavy metal copper pollution, without the discharge of highly toxic substances such as cyanide/cadmium/chromium, nor the discharge of carcinogenic, teratogenic, and genetic mutagenic substances. The main heavy metal pollution component - copper ion - can be easily removed through conventional treatment methods, so the pollutants in circuit boards are not enough to be feared.

      2. The concentration of pollutants in circuit board enterprises is low. As is well known, the production of circuit boards has high requirements for water use, with the vast majority using pure water. The wastewater discharged mainly comes from the process of drawing the boards. From the table, it can be seen that compared to other polluting industries, the concentration of pollutants in the wastewater discharged by circuit board enterprises is very low, especially COD, which is only 1/10 of that of other polluting industries.

      3. The wastewater discharged by circuit board enterprises causes relatively light pollution to freshwater. Due to the high requirements for water use and strict control during the production process of circuit boards, the salt content (i.e. conductivity) in wastewater discharged by circuit board enterprises is much lower compared to other industries. From the perspective of protecting freshwater resources, salt is a crucial indicator, and any salt content can cause pollution to freshwater resources. So compared to other companies, circuit board companies can only refer to it as low pollution
